Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data ARK7ZION collects through ark7zion.com, what we use it for and what your rights are. It applies to anyone who visits the site or contacts us through it.
01Data controller
The data controller is ARK7ZION, based in Santa Catarina, Assomada, Santiago island, Cabo Verde. For any privacy question, write to contact@ark7zion.com.
02Data we collect
When you submit the contact form we collect your name, email, company (optional), service of interest, subject, message and the IP address it was sent from. We do not ask for sensitive data and ask you not to include it in your message. Browsing the site does not collect data that identifies you.
03How we use it
We use contact form data only to answer your request and to follow up on that same matter. The IP address is used to protect the form against abuse and spam. We do not sell or share data with third parties for marketing.
04Legal basis
We process this data on the basis of your contact request (steps taken at your request before a contract) and our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure, under Cabo Verde's personal data protection law (Law No. 133/V/2001, as amended). For visitors in the European Economic Area the same grounds apply under the GDPR.
05Service providers
The site is hosted by Vercel Inc. Contact messages are stored in Google Firebase (Google LLC). When email notification is enabled, the message is delivered to our inbox through Resend. These providers process data on our behalf and may store it outside Cabo Verde, under the contractual safeguards they offer.
06Machine translation
If you choose a language from the "Machine translation" list, the page text is translated by Google Translate, which loads Google scripts and sets the googtrans cookie. This only happens if you choose that option.
07Cookies
The site only uses technical cookies: NEXT_LOCALE, ark_lang_choice and ark_lang_hint store your language, and googtrans stores the machine-translation language. The admin area uses a session cookie (__session) for signed-in staff only. We do not use advertising cookies.
08Retention
We keep contact messages for as long as needed to handle the request and at most 24 months after the last contact, unless the law requires us to keep them longer.
09Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, or object to its processing, by writing to contact@ark7zion.com. If you believe your rights have not been respected, you can lodge a complaint with Cabo Verde's National Data Protection Commission (CNPD).
10Changes
We may update this policy. The date of the latest update is shown at the top of this page.
